I often use my own travel experiences and photography as inspiration for painting. These experiences also color the building blocks of my life; a specific city will inspire the decoration in a room of my apartment, a certain meal I ate will influence my grocery list. I spend hours scrolling back through pictures, rereading journal entries, trying to recreate dishes or find the perfect wine.
